ITALY

As indicated in the application file, on the 28th of April 2022, the C.A Dalla Chiesa Institute organized a social inclusion trip to Vietri sul Mare in Salerno area, which has one of the most beautiful beaches on the Amalfi coast and is an important tourist destination. Among these tourist destinations we have chosen to visit the Castle of Arechi, a medieval castle, located at a height of about 300 meters above sea level, overlooking the city and the Gulf of Salerno. It is called Arechi because the construction of this fortification is traditionally associated with the Lombard duke Arechi II. Then we spent the rest of the day on the beach in the beautiful village Vietri sul mare.  It was an activity that aimed to change the sedentary students routine inside school. The students had the chance to have a great day , to experience and learn about the local history and to socialize after a long period of true paralysis due to the pandemic. Students were able to enjoy the views and impressive nature of the mountains, as well as learn from the monument's significant history. The cost was covered by the management and execution budget assigned to the C.A Dalla Chiesa Institute.
